History of the Wynwood Walls
Since its inception in 2009, Wynwood Walls has grown into a globally recognized museum dedicated to street art, leaving an indelible mark on the world of contemporary art. The program has featured 130+ artists from over 30 countries across 62,000 square feet of painted walls, welcoming roughly three million visitors a year.
“Wynwood Walls was an idea my father, Tony Goldman, had in 2009. As a romantic developer and placemaker passionate about art, he recognized that Wynwood needed a heartbeat and that art could uplift it.”
Goldman Global Arts
Founded by Jessica Goldman Srebnick and Peter Tunney, Goldman Global Arts is the Miami-based creative agency that serves as the curatorial arm of Wynwood Walls, elevating street art and public art as instruments of change.
